摘要: This study analyzed whether police attitudes toward policing partner violence against women corresponded with different psychosocial profiles. Two were considered—one reflecting a general preference for conditional law enforcement (depending on the willingness of victim to press charges offender) and other unconditional (regardless victim’s offender). Results from sample 378 officers showed that those who expressed scored higher in other-oriented empathy, less sexist, tended perceive same incidents as more serious, felt personally responsible, compared group approach. Implications education are considered.
