摘要: In the secondary structure model that has been proposed for trans-spliced intron 1 in Chlamydomonas reinhardtii psaA gene, a third RNA species (tscA RNA) interacts with 5′ and 3′ parts flanking exons to reconstitute composite several features of group-II introns. To test validity this model, we undertook sequencing modelling equivalent introns gene from other unicellular green algae belonging highly diversified genus Chlamydomonas. Our comparative analysis supports reported C. 1, also indicates end tscA region downstream exon cannot be folded into typical domain I as described most It is possible fourth species, yet discovered, provides which are apparently missing.
