摘要: This paper introduces a new method for detecting and localizing hand landmarks in 2D color images. Location of the is an important source information recognizing gestures, effectively exploited number recent methods which operate from depth maps. However, this problem has not yet been satisfactorily solved Here, we propose to analyze skin-presence masks, as well directional image using distance transform template matching. makes it possible detect located both at contour inside masks. Moreover, performed extensive experimental study compare proposed with state-of-the-art algorithms. The obtained quantitative qualitative results clearly indicate that our approach outperforms other methods, may help improve existing gesture recognition systems.
