摘要: Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) satellite sensors can provide relevant information about a variety of features related to dynamical processes. Due the high resolution available SAR sensors, it is possible detect details circulation and small-scale processes which are not observable by other frequently used for ocean research, including Advanced Very High Resolution Radiometer (AVHRR) Sea-viewing Wide Field-of-view Sensor (SeaWiFS). Additionally LANDSAT-Thematic Mapper (TM)/ Enhanced Thematic Plus (ETM+) thermal optical channels be observe sea surface temperatures layer color (upwelled radiance), as well sun glint patterns roughness (reflected radiance) at spatial resolution, comparable that SAR.
