摘要: In order to assess the effect of soil water deficit (SWD) during fruit development and ripening, on yield quality processing tomato under irrigation in Mediterranean climate, an open-field experiment was carried out two sites differing from climatic characteristics, Sicily, South Italy. Six treatments were studied: no following plant establishment (NI); 100% (F = full) or 50% (D deficit) ETc restoration with long-season (L) short-season up 1st set (S); beginning flowering, then (LFD). The greatest increasing SWD rise firmness, total solids soluble (SS). A negative trend response observed for size. Tough SS negatively correlated, final LD regime close that LF, 47% saved. However, seems be more environmental sensitive than SWD, since it varied between within site. variations demonstrate not only but also characteristics influence traits crop.
