摘要: This paper focuses on the renewable heat incentive (RHI) scheme in United Kingdom (UK); and particular, its implications relation to solar thermal systems (STSs). First, a short review UK's energy demand is provided. Then, an overview of past present activities related STS installations discussed, covering regulation, policies programmes, research development expenditures implementations. A financial analysis presented afterwards, analysing RHI scheme, terms total profit, payback period average annual return investment. based different sizes at various levels insolation. The also presents reduction carbon dioxide emissions that could be achieved by installing STS. From it found generate good high investment ‘acceptable’ period, depending locations. As result, increase penetration UK. Significant reductions emission can building.
