摘要: Previous research showing greater femininity among overweight persons used measures of masculinity and which have been criticized for conceptual psychometric reasons. The present study the Spence-Helmreich to examine interrelationships socially desirable undesirable instrumental (“masculine”) expressive (“feminine”) traits, body weight, other attributes cognitive concern about dieting weight-related appearance. While weight was unrelated these psychological femininity, sex differences were found in relationship tendencies. dissatisfaction with physical appearance, achievement motivation samples college undergraduates.
