摘要: Little is known about direct and indirect effects of extreme weather events on arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi (AMF) under field conditions. In a experiment, we investigated the response mycorrhization to drought heavy rain in grassland communities. We quantified AMF biomass soil, roots grass Holcus lanatus forb Plantago lanceolata, as well plant performance. Plants were grown four-species communities with or without legume. hypothesised that increases decreases mycorrhization, higher will be linked improved stress resistance production. Soil increased both extremes. Heavy generally benefitted plants arbuscules P. lanceolata. Drought neither reduced performance nor root mycorrhization. Arbuscules H. lanatus several weeks after drought, P. lanceolata spells. These long-lasting highlight influence climate via their host plant. Legume presence community biomass, but had only minor Arbuscule colonisation was negatively correlated senescence during dry summer. Mycorrhization production positively related. However, related less grass. mycelium soil might increase events, colonisation, however, species specific. This amplify shifts change by further increasing already benefit from changed precipitation.
