摘要: The paper studies the optimal placement of multiple cameras and selection best subset for single target localization in framework sensor networks. are assumed to be aimed horizontally around a room. To conserve both computation communication energy, each camera reduces its image binary “scan-line” by performing simple background subtraction followed vertical summing thresholding, communicates only center detected foreground object. Assuming noisy measurements an object prior, minimum mean squared error linear estimate location 2-D is used as metric selection. problem shown equivalent classical inverse kinematics robotics problem, which can solved efficiently using gradient descent techniques. on other hand combinatorial optimization finding solution too costly implement energy-constrained wireless network. A semi-definite programming approximation achieve close solutions with much lower computational burden. Simulation experimental results presented.
