摘要: Cystic or cyst-like neck masses form a unique category within head and radiology with differential diagnoses. The precise anatomical location imaging appearances are important for accurate diagnosis formulating the diagnoses of cystic lesions in neck. In vast majority cases ultrasound, sometimes supplemented by fine-needle aspiration cytology (FNAC), is adequate pre-treatment assessment. For large, deep-seated assessment using magnetic resonance (MRI) computed tomography (CT) often provides useful supplementary information. Radiologists should be aware findings common to help their appropriate management.
