摘要: Using the crystal structure determination of rochelle salt made by Beevers and Hughes, a theory ferro-electric effect clamped dielectric constant has been worked out using displacement hydrogen nucleus in 1-10 bond as ferroelectric dipole. This only one disposable constant, $\ensuremath{\beta}$, factor proportionality between polarization Lorentz internal field. Taking oxygen separation found x-rays, for electrons atoms experiment, number molecules per cubic centimeter from x-ray cell determinations, value $\ensuremath{\beta}$ becomes 4.07 which agrees well with theoretical $\frac{4\ensuremath{\pi}}{3}$ an isotropic substance. accounts at low field strengths, shown measurements presented here, maximum values -18\ifmmode^\circ\else\textdegree\fi{}C +24\ifmmode^\circ\else\textdegree\fi{}C, Curie temperatures free crystal. shows that anomaly must lie alone not interaction piezoelectric effect. model also recent W. A. Yager show dipole is relaxed frequency about 5\ifmmode\times\else\texttimes\fi{}${10}^{9}$ cycles.
