APMIS 2010; 118: 571–77. We describe a study urinary tract intestinal isolates Escherichia coli from Norway Russia using automated ribotyping, single nucleotide polymorphism for A (CgA) supplemented with phylogrouping, virulence gene profiling resistance profiling. CgA comprised 19% the UTI 2001. Two highly multiresistant were found. Ribotypes clustered into four major six minor groups (ribogroups). Fluoroquinolone-resistant phylogroups B1 associated ribogroup RA. Ribogroup RB predominated among was predominantly phylogroup depleted in P-fimbriae. RC rich factors (S-fimbriae, haemagglutinin haemolysin) B2 D. RG Ribogroups RD, RE RF had too few members statistical analysis. The correlation between ribotype phylogenetic not as strong reported other studies.
