摘要: ABSTRACTMilitary fathers are being deployed, and leaving their families, for greater lengths of time more frequently than ever before. The purpose this study was to examine the impact recent deployment on parenting stress in U.S. Navy with young children. Of 111 participants who completed one-time questionnaire at a large military outpatient clinic Eastern seaboard, 67.6% had returned from ship-based deployment. Regression analyses were performed, using Parenting Stress Index as outcome variable, elements (such away home past 5 years) predictors, adjusting other factors such post-traumatic disorder (PTSD) depression.
