摘要: Reported data on cases of primary and secondary syphilis in the United States during 1967-1979 were analyzed by age, race, sex, reporting source. Although incidence fluctuated little between 1967 1979, ratio male to female increased twofold, from 1.5:1 3:1. The percentage men with early who attended at least one sex partner 38% 1969 70% 1979. These findings suggest that an essential change occurred epidemiology States: gay became proportionately more burdened disease, increasing transmission disease within this segment population States.
