The aim the present study was to compare field traumatic vasospastic disease (TVD). Eleven forest workers with TVD (Raynaud origin) from use chain saws seven controls underwent various exposures cold. Sitting naked at 10 12°C for 40 minutes exposing hands water 13 16°C during last 20 provoked blanching fingers all subjects in group none controls. These differences were only partially supported by skin temperature recordings. Finger cooling general cold exposure, rewarming after local that did not provoke blanching, cold-induced vasodilatation, vibration cool differ significantly between groups. production attacks apparently facilitated hand grip results underline diagnostic uncertainties those approaches which do finger blanching. Such are most easily produced a combined exposure.
