摘要: Abstract The physical appearance of oil was investigated in three types oil-contaminated sediment: (1) natural harbour sediment, (2) laboratory samples sediment prepared by simulating the oil–sediment interaction processes and (3) spiked direct mixing large volumes sediment. Microscopic observations show possible presence phases distinct droplets, coating on particles ‘oil patches’. Through quantitative investigations, it concluded that division different is affected processes, type, concentration. As far as droplet phase concerned, these parameters also influence size distribution.
