摘要: Matrix-assisted laser desorption ionization-time of flight mass spectrometry (MALDI-TOF MS) is suitable for high-throughput and rapid diagnostics at low costs can be considered an alternative conventional biochemical molecular identification systems in a microbiological laboratory. First, we evaluated MALDI-TOF MS using 327 clinical isolates previously cultured from patient materials identified by techniques (Vitek-II, API, tests). Discrepancies were analyzed analysis the 16S genes. Of isolates, 95.1% correctly to genus level, 85.6% species level MS. Second, performed prospective validation study, including 980 bacteria yeasts. Overall performance was significantly better than correct (92.2% 83.1%, respectively) produced fewer incorrect identifications (0.1% 1.6%, respectively). Correct observed 97.7% Enterobacteriaceae, 92% nonfermentative Gram-negative bacteria, 94.3% staphylococci, 84.8% streptococci, 84% miscellaneous group (mainly Haemophilus, Actinobacillus, Cardiobacterium, Eikenella, Kingella [HACEK]), 85.2% had methods staphylococci belonging HACEK group. Misidentifications clearly associated with absence sufficient spectra reference strains database. We conclude that implemented easily routine (except pneumococci viridans streptococci) yeasts medical
