摘要: Objective To evaluate how a prior affective disorder (major depression or generalized anxiety disorder) affects current fatigue among individuals with rheumatoid arthritis (RA). To determine whether that relationship is mediated by self-efficacy expectations. Methods Forty-eight RA patients and 74 without history of completed mailed questionnaire included the Multidimensional Assessment Fatigue indicators neuroticism self efficacy. Results RA reported higher levels than those no previous disturbance. Controlling for efficacy, continued to predict fatigue. Mediational analyses revealed both direct indirect effects (via efficacy) on experience in RA. Conclusion History independently predicts patients, efficacy plays mediating role this relationship.
