摘要: A sample of 1529 resting places Wild boar, recorded in four areas southern France, was analysed as regards habitat selection. Two were heavily forested and showed a medium or high density boar. The landscape the two other composed cultivated fields with small scattered woods. Each place, located by radio-tracking, assigned one-hectare cell. Geographic Information System set up to include descriptive information on each cell study (5,000 19,000 hectares each). Selection wild boars comparing frequency selected habitats their corresponding area. There is an overall preference for most secure class (wood dense low stratum). Results also show that selection broader open than landscape. In extended “incomplete” mixtures strata.
