摘要: Access to parks and recreational facilities, as well their quality, congestion, affordability, relates physical activity levels and, in turn, various health outcomes. Yet park resources are often insufficient unevenly distributed within metropolitan regions. This paper documents analyzes the allocation of federal, state, special district, municipal, nonprofit recreation facilities across municipalities Los Angeles region. Results indicate that local funding for is highly uneven (from less than $1 over $500 per capita annually).
