摘要: In all living organisms lipids play several roles, and according to their structures they can be divided into two main groups: the neutral (acylglycerols, sterols, free fatty acids, wax steryl esters) polar (phospholipids, glycolipids betaine lipids). Triacylglycerols act as a compact, easily metabolised non-hydrated energy store. Waxes are commonly extracellular components such surface covering, which function both reduce water loss protect plants from noxious environmental conditions (Harwood 1998). Polar sterols important structural of cell membranes. Also, there many examples what could termed biologically active (e.g., inositol lipids, sphingolipids, oxidation products). recent years, scientists have started realize that lipid metabolism is key factor in adaptation mechanisms anthropogenic stress. lichens, importance response factors temperature, elevation, light, high levels radiation, sulphur been studied (Dertien et al. 1977, Piervittori 1995, Bychek 1996, Shapiro 1998, Bychek-Guschina 1999). The present chapter will describe methods analysis available for laboratories used by author extraction, separation quantification basic lipids.
