摘要: A novel multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) dielectric resonator antenna (DRA) for long term evolution (LTE) femtocell base stations is described. The proposed able to transmit and receive information independently using TE HE modes in the LTE bands 12 (698-716 MHz, 728-746 MHz) 17 (704-716 734-746 MHz). systematic design method based on perturbation theory induce mode degeneration MIMO operation. Through perturbing boundary of DRA, amount energy stored by a specific changed as well resonant frequency that mode. Hence, introducing an adequate perturbation, DRA will resonate at same share common impedance bandwidth. simulated mutual coupling between was low - 40 dB . It estimated rich scattering environment with Signal-to-Noise Ratio (SNR) 20 per receiver branch, achieve channel capacity 11.1 b/s/Hz (as compared theoretical maximum 2 × 13.4 b/s/Hz). Our experimental measurements successfully demonstrated methodology this work.
