摘要: In the autism spectrum disorders (ASD) field of research there is scientific consensus on importance early identification (and subsequently, timely treatment) for a better prognosis. For this reason, diagnosis represents common challenge clinicians and an area great interest researchers. past decades, many studies have focused identifying subclinical signs ASD with different types experimental designs methods, both retrospectively prospectively. The purpose narrative review to present changes in methodology, from historical point view, highlighting strengths weaknesses designs. Conclusions are drawn taking into account potentialities prospective study predictors ASD.
