摘要: Abstract Tissue cultures obtained from hairy root tissues induced by Agrobacterium rhizogenes on tobacco plants — hr have been characterized in order to define their possible transformed nature. Hr are characteristically able differentiate roots vitro. This rooting capability is stably maintained the absence of pathogen tissue culture. Contrary crown-gall tumours do not show phytohormone autotrophy, nor enzymatic activities specifically related presence such unusual aminoacids as octopine and nopaline. The role A. plasmid DNA root-induction discussed.
