摘要: summary  Linear mouth opening is often used to assess the limitation of mandibular movement. However, this has a number limitations. It dependent on variables such as age, gender and ramus length. A new measure movement been developed previously, called temporomandibular index (TOI). Forty-two subjects who did not exhibit signs symptoms disorder (TMD) were recruited study. The relationship gender, gonial angle, length TOI was studied. regression analysis showed that (P > 0·644), angle (P > 0·327), (P > 0·248) age (P > 0·690). may therefore be better
