摘要: The review of the literature on Cheyne-Stokes respiratory periods reveals enormous variation opinions expressed. original description concerned periodicity characterized by rhythmic changes phases and pauses in a relation 60 ∶ 15 seconds. In phase there were 30 respirations increasing depths frequency at beginning decreasing end phase. Literature data about respiration comprise multiplicity all forms. duration cycles varies between 12 130 pause 6 4 or 75 70 seconds, number breaths 3 during one observed healthy subjects as well patients with neurological, neurosurgical, cardiac, pulmonary paediatric diseases. explained sequel prolongation circulation time alveoli centre, through increased sensitivity centre to CO2, diminished CO2 O2-deficit, local blood flow disturbances, section pathways brain stem disinhibition basic rhythms, immaturity, alterations consciousness, obstructions. Rhythmic heart beat, excitability muscle, pressure, EEG neurological mental signs observed. spite numerous observations detailed analysis cycle was performed only few cases. Major studies are lacking.
