摘要: The poisoning effects of two types carbon-containing sulfides (CS2 and CH3SSCH3) on Ni/Al2O3 catalysts for the hydrogenation benzene cyclohexene were systematically investigated via experiments DFT calculations. toxicity CH3SSCH3 is three times greater than that CS2 benzene, respectively. characterization results reveal dissociates easily during releases CH4, allowing sulfur atoms to poison Ni sites. However, presence in step slows decline catalytic performance, because resistance direct dissociation strong CS bond CS2. chemisorbed molecules their incomplete weaken strength NiS decrease effect sulfur. processes are also discussed following a study. This work opens up promising possibilities industrial study S-poisoning supported catalysts.
