摘要: Combined anaerobic digestion of olive oil mill effluent (OME) with swine manure, was investigated. In batch experiments shown that for degradation OME alone nitrogen addition needed. A COD:N ratio in the range 65:1 to 126:1 necessary optimal process. Furthermore, it found methane productions rates during either manure or were much lower than achieved when and digested together. Admixing at a concentration 5 10% resulted highest production rates. Using upflow sludge blanket (UASB) reactors, codigestion (up 50% OME) successful COD reduction up 75%. The process adapted stepwise increase load UASB reactor. results showed high content ammonia together other nutrients, make possible degrade without external alkalinity source. Anaerobic treatment reactors simple phenolic compounds such as mequinol, phenyl ethyl alcohol methyl phenol. After these reduced between 75 100%. However, some products phenol detected significantly higher concentrations after treatment, indicating has be further optimised achieve satisfactory removal all xenobiotic compounds.
