摘要: During a 2-year period we studied the reproductive and fat body cycles characteristics (clutch size, egg size) of oviparous lizard Acanthodactylus erythrurus in central Spain. Testes exhibited their maximal volume during April–June decreased size throughout summer. Fat bodies males were smallest spring mating period. Vitellogenesis started May or June, with oviposition occurring June–July. Female declined yolk deposition. A delay timing events 1 year was associated adverse weather conditions early spring. "good" year, reproduction initiated enough to allow some females produce second clutch. Both clutch increased female length, but did not vary between years. Environmental factors that induced temporal variation frequency affect characteristics.
