Impact of stroke unit in a public hospital on length of hospitalization and rate of early mortality of ischemic stroke patients

摘要: We ascertained whether a public health stroke unit reduces the length of hospitalization, rate inpatient fatality, and mortality 30 days after stroke. Methods compared cohort patients managed on general neurology/medical ward with similar in str oke unit. The in-patient fatality rates 30-day were analyzed. Results 729 344 treated at comprehensive 14.7% for group 6.9% (p<0.001). overall was 20.9% 14.2% (p=0.005). Conclusions observed reduced fatalities There no impact hospitalization.
