摘要: Allergic asthma and rhinitis are prevalent diseases in the modern world, both marked by inflammation of airways. The spleen tyrosine kinase (Syk) plays a critical role regulation such immune inflammatory responses. Although Syk is best known as key component immunoreceptor signalling complexes leukocytes, recent studies demonstrated expression cells outside haematopoietic lineage. Moreover, years, it has been established that involved various cascades including those originating from integrin cytokine receptors. Thus, likely much wider biological than previously recognised.
