摘要: Climate change affects agriculture differently due to the heterogeneity in bio-physical and economic conditions Austria. Therefore, stakeholder expert knowledge is required regional vulnerability assessments address region specific challenges develop compatible adaptation strategies. In a transdisciplinary research project, working group consisting of stakeholders agricultural experts identified effects uncertain future precipitation on soil water erosion as well effectiveness selected conservation measures most crucial gap. Consequently, potential sediment losses cropland have been simulated with RUSLE (Revised Universal Soil Loss Equation) methodology for several climate scenarios using process model EPIC (Environmental Policy Integrated Climate) an Austrian alpine foreland region. The predicts increase yield higher sums 2040 average. However, reduced tillage cultivating winter cover crops effective options. provided local crop management validated results according their clarity, comprehensiveness, meaningfulness. They confirmed its usefulness inform farmers support public debate agriculture.
