摘要: SUMMARY Rapid phage and serological methods were compared with biochemical bean-pod inoculation tests for the identification of Pseudomonas phaseolicola. Phages II P, 12 P 48 highly specific did not lyse any forty-five other isolates from bean or sixteen species tested. They also, however, unable to rough colony forms P. phaseolicola which occasionally isolated. Phage S lysed a wide range spp., including proportion isolates, majority race 2. Serological showed that heat-labile antigen possessed by was common twelve plant pathogenic pseudomonads. The heat-stable more detected only in mors-prunorum primulae, neither occurs on bean. two races indistinguishable tests. It concluded both antiserum provide specific, rapid easily applied routine seed material.
