摘要: The parasitic life-cycle of Haemonchus placei (Place 1893) Ransom 1911 is described and compared with that H. contortus (Rudolphi 1803) Cobb 1898. third ecdysis larvae occurred 36-76 hr after infestation, the fourth final moult 11-14 days infestation in majority larvae. Many third- fourth-stage penetrated deeply into gastric glands mucosa. A small proportion did not develop beyond early stage, even had become adult. pre-patent period was estimated to be about 11 longer than contortus.
