摘要: Background The International Gastric Cancer Linkage Consortium (IGCLC) consensus guideline advises prophylactic gastrectomy in early adulthood to prevent gastric cancer development CDH1 germline mutation carriers; psychosocial reasons may postpone gastrectomy. We analyzed the yield of signet-ring cell carcinoma (SRCC) during surveillance gastroscopy carriers. Methods A retrospective analysis on gastroscopies carriers was performed. The SRCC both targeted and random biopsies studied. Endoscopic (biopsy) results were compared with histopathologic outcomes specimens. Results 42 (18 men; mean age 43, range 20–82 years) underwent 96 gastroscopies. lesions identified 21 patients (50 %), by either only (n = 11), (n = 3), or (n = 7). detected 41 /377 (11 %), whereas revealed 14/1563 (0.9 %). At least one lesion found 26 30 In 18 these specimens (69 %), had been endoscopic biopsies. Missed all small superficial foci, mainly body stomach. Conclusion In our cohort carriers, an extensive protocol 69 % SRCC-positive who a resection. low number through sampling demands critical reappraisal biopsy IGCLC guideline.
