摘要: We present in this paper a brief review of the facilities Megagauss Laboratory (MGL) University Tokyo, and an overview highlights solid state physics megagauss fields at MGL. The has long history since first prototype was established 1972 order to pursue new phenomena which may occur extreme high magnetic field limit. Since then, it achieved successful development last three decades, very recently 1999, enlarged renewed Kashiwa campus. At MGL, pulsed are produced by different techniques: electromagnetic flux compression (EMFC), single-turn coil (STC) technique, non-destructive pulse magnets. highest 622 T been obtained EMFC. By STC exceeding 300 have depending on bore, two systems with horizontal vertical axes. These applied many kinds experiments, such as optical spectroscopy, cyclotron electron spin resonance, magnetization transport measurements. Non-destructive up nearly 70 from wire-wound coils also available.
