摘要: Scatter correction is an important factor in single photon emission computed tomography (SPECT). Many scatter techniques, such as multiple-window subtraction and intrinsic modeling with iterative algorithms, have been under study for many years. Previously, the authors developed efficient slice-to-slice blurring technique to model attenuation system geometric response a projector/backprojector pair, which was used ML-EM algorithm reconstruct SPECT data. This paper proposes that models 3D first-order SPECT, also using technique. The estimated from known, non-uniform, distribution map. It assumed probability of event at pixel proportional coefficient value pixel. Monte Carlo simulations point-sources MCAT torso phantom were verify accuracy proposed model. For 64/spl times/64/spl times/64 image volume, it took 8.7 seconds perform each iteration per slice, when scatter, attenuation, point functions. main advantage method its ease implement efficiency computer calculation.
