摘要: In this study, fecundity of Munida gregaria in northern Patagonia was analysed relation to size and compared with other studies different sites along its latitudinal distribution. Also, morphological changes embryos reared the laboratory, chronology appearance were observed. Fecundity (total number eggs a clutch) strongly correlated (carapace length mm) (R = 0.638) regression equation fitted by least squares Log ( F ) = − 1.37 + 3.85 · log( CL . Size specific higher than southern locations Patagonia. Recently extruded are smaller measuring an average 530 μm diameter 0.043 mm 3 volume. When ready hatch, those measures increased 30% 50% respectively. Complete embryonic development lasted 27.9 days at fixed temperature 11°C. Five stages defined based on changes: (1) from fertilization primordium (2–3.5 days); (2) tissues occupying less half egg perimeter lateral view (7–10 (3) without pigments more (5–8 (4) reddish eye chromatophores (4–6 (5) ocular globe completely pigmented (3–4 days).
