摘要: The mining waste in Al-Amar gold mine is 150 kg a year due to leakage the extraction process. Studying textures of deposits can be helpful improve process extraction. present work aimed study texture, structure, and composition that have different structures using Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM), probe microanalysis (EPMA), Micro X-ray Fluorescence (µXRF). ore minerals at were determined these are pyrite, chalcopyrite, sphalerite, galena, silica. contents Si Zn some specific areas highly indicated silica sphalerite minerals, respectively. Additionally, high Fe S, as well Cu, confirm presence pyrite chalcopyrite minerals. µXRF technique was used for elemental mapping Si, Ca, Ti, Mn, Fe, Zn, Pb, Au. spectral interference between Zn-Kβ Au-Lα found pixels Au-Lβ free from following samples under investigation. positive correlation Au elements indicates existence element an invisible specks.
