Three-dimensional imaging of the pediatric trachea in congenital tracheal stenosis.

摘要: Technological advances in three-dimensional computer software packages have resulted fairly widespread acceptance of 3D imaging for musculoskeletal studies. We recently applied this technology to axial CT images the pediatric trachea children with congenital tracheal stenosis, an effort replace tracheo-bronchography a safer, less invasive modality image trachea. This method has provided our surgical colleagues which they find easier interpret because are more anatomically oriented respect regional mediastinal structures, can be included or removed from at will.
