摘要: The function of a building or house is to provide shelter its occupants from weather. Since the weather conditions vary widely over year and in different places, humans feel comfortable within certain range air temperatures humidities, houses are made everyday living comfort. heating winter comfort by use solar energy an ancient concept since man started build habitations. Basically systems divided into two categories: passive active heating. Passive do not need any mechanical system designed such that glazed area, walls roofs for collecting, storing, distributing heat indoors natural processess convection, radiation, conduction. Four basic concepts are: direct gain, collector-storage wall, sunspace, roof. These will be discussed separate chapter volume 3.
