摘要: Sexual violence prevention programs have been implemented widely and researched extensively; however, few demonstrated effectiveness in preventing sexual violence. Without carefully planned executed evaluations, there is a risk that ineffective will be promoted resources wasted. Measuring the of presents several challenges: official reports grossly underestimate incidence violence, self-reported aggression may unreliable due to socially desirable responding and/or fear legal consequences. Moreover, many commonly used scales rely on assessing participants’ attitudes, which not translate into behavioral changes. In this chapter, we address these related challenges selecting appropriate outcome measures evaluation programs. A comprehensive literature review identified more than 50 pen-and-paper questionnaires assess relevant variables including victimization, perpetration bystander behavior. Validity most promising (i.e., showing adequate reliability across independent samples) discussed. The chapter concludes with set recommendations for victimization diverse populations.
