摘要: Abstract The effect of heat treatment on gas porosity and mechanical properties was investigated in a step test part manufactured by vacuum assisted high pressure die casting using new AlSi10MnMg(Fe) secondary alloy. Porosity were the T6 temper with different solution treatments. characterized metallographic fractographic analysis tensile specimens. Mechanical comparable to corresponding primary alloy have been achieved for each treatment. It found that increasing temperature time increased yield ultimate strength, while elongation decreased observed sections fracture surfaces increased. evaluation indicates local area fraction rather than one whole surface determines ductility. size largest pore appears become more relevant above values 200 µm.
