摘要: Abstract The stochastic stress release model provides a version of the elastic rebound which may be used to fit, simulate and forecast occurrence large earthquakes within seismic region. This paper reviews its applications historical from China, Iran Japan, thereby extending supporting earlier work on Chinese data. generally an improvement in fit over Poisson models with either constant rate or linear trend.
