摘要: The coastal water quality of Mumbai is deteriorating by receiving partially treated effluent from wastewater treatment facilities, sewage discharges ocean outfalls and point non-point sources in the creek coast. A novel approach object-based image analysis has been used this research study to assess extent pollution environment Mumbai. For this, Indian Remote Sensing P6 Linear Imaging Self Scanning IV was for multiresolution segmentation rule-based classification as per normalised difference index turbidity index. Water regions were strongly correlated with observed parameters. Based on classified parameters, coast ranked high least polluted. developed methodology should be tested similarly polluted waters ascertain its adaptability assessing spatial pollution.
