摘要: In the US, individuals between ages 18 and 26 have highest incidence of new human papillomavirus (HPV) infections, most common sexually transmitted infection worldwide. HPV can cause genital warts, persistent with cancerous strains develop into multiple types cancers. 2011, Centers for Disease Control Prevention recommended that both men women receive vaccine. However, young adult men, including college-aged been slow to initiate complete vaccine series. Our cross-sectional study, guided by Theory Planned Behavior, explores college men's vaccination uptake series completion behaviors their intentions vaccinate. Using logistic regression, we examined how students' attitudes, perceived behavioral control, subjective norms impacted vaccine-related intentions. Subjective norms, followed control communicate a provider about vaccine, had largest impact on Both positive attitudes vaccinate against HPV. Based these findings, make various recommendations campus interventions policies could increase among men.
