摘要: This essay is an attempt to pull together a multiplicity of phenomena variously called "private speech," "egocentric "self-communicative "self-guiding speech" or "soliloquy" within unified perspective. I will demonstrate that soliloquy consists 3 basic components: "regressive" component involved with the release raw emotional energy, "intrapersonal" concerned structuring and sustaining cognition, "interpersonal" directed toward communicating others. An example what can be "regressive soliloquy" instinctive cry newborn baby involuntary curse person who has just struck his thumb hammer. "intrapersonal exemplified by looked up telephone number in directory repeats it himself for better retention as he prepares dial telephone, while "interpersonal illustrated one's rehearsal speech destined public delivery.
