摘要: Background. The use of natural polymers in designing matrix tablets for sustained-release drug delivery systems has received much attention. Objectives. study involves the development and optimization situ cross-linked sustained salbutamol sulfate release. Material Methods. In were prepared by direct compression optimized response surface methodology based on 3 2 factorial design. influence sodium alginate a calcium salt (calcium carbonate) amounts properties like release hardness analyzed plots corresponding contour plots. Drug contents, weight variations, hardness, vitro with kinetic analysis these newly developed also investigated. Results. All showed satisfactory prolonged over 6 h. Conclusions. might be beneficial conventional to decrease dosing frequency enhanced patient compliance (Polim. Med. 2014, 44, 4, 221–230).
