Synthesis of CdS Nanoparticle and Reveal Its Effect on Reproductive System of Male Albino Rats

摘要: This is a controlled research laboratory study (conducted in the of University Rajasthan) which shows synthesis CdS nanoparticle (NPs) and its effects on male reproductive system. Albino Wistar rats (Rattus norvegicus), healthy fertile 3–4 months old weighing about 150–180 g were used for experimentation. NPs by chemical method injected intra-peritoneal at dose level 2.5 mg rat−1 day−1 30 days. XRD TEM analysis performed size measurement. Animals killed 24 h after withdrawal treatment, sperm, haematological, serum, tissue biochemistry, histopathological analyses performed. synthesised their confirmed XRD-TEM image. Sperm altered, hormonal, biochemical, histological changes support anti-spermatogenic effect organ. pattern observation showed NPS was estimated 20 nm. Decrease sperm density motility, fertility index, testes accessory organ weight, protein, glycogen contents observed. Increased cholesterol decrease testosterone adverse fertility. Histological degradation clearly visible. No significant alteration body vital organs weight found. successfully revealed contraceptive activity rats.
