摘要: Myoblast transplantation has been investigated as a treatment for Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy and injured myocardial tissue. Multiple groups have isolated an early myogenic precursor population, termed muscle-derived stem cells (MDSCs) that superior ability to regenerate dystrophin-positive myofibers improve cardiac function following ischemic event compared more differentiated myoblasts. The initial local environment of these transplantations involves high degree inflammation its associated major component, oxidative stress. Here, we report resistance stresses is important factor determining the regenerative capacity muscle in skeletal muscle. MDSCs increased antioxidant protects them from intracellular damage while myoblasts lower levels survival delayed differentiation exposure These experiments were conducted using series throughput assays combine robotic live-cell microscopy with custom image analysis software. Further, when are lowered values comparable myoblasts, decreases both cell therapies. findings indicate role plays therapies, identifies new mechanism by which display unique also phenotype selecting populations enhanced regeneration capacity.
